 Hello!
I’m Captain Janis L. Powell, lifetime boater and the owner of
JP Boating, LLC. I am a holder of an Inland United
States Coast Guard Master license for motor vessels up to 50
gross tons.
From early childhood boating has been a meaningful part of my
life, beginning with travel along the scenic New Jersey coast.
When I reached driving age, I was trailering and launching the
family boat for day trips with friends. We just couldn't get
enough of being out on the water.
Now, over 15 years later, I enjoy dividing my time between the
beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire and the scenic New
England coast.
I get much enjoyment from sharing my love for the region with
others as a Justice of the Peace and performing weddings on Lake
Winnipesaukee. I truly hope you will find equal enjoyment
from your experience on the water.
