Training Agreement

Boat Preparation
Your boat must be registered, fully insured, and meet all state and federal requirements.  It must be seaworthy and in good working condition.  You are responsible for ensuring the appropriate amount of fuel with a basic pre-departure engine and safety check.

You will need to be prepared with appropriate clothing for the expected weather conditions.  Also have plenty of water on board to avoid the potential for dehydration. 

Education Requirement
You must have completed a boating safety course prior to any training event.  Exceptions will only be made for individuals that are exempt under New Hampshire boating regulations.

Cancellations/Refunds
JP Boating, LLC reserves the right to cancel or delay any training activity.   Factors that may result in a cancellation or delay include, but are not limited to, weather and/or water conditions, boat condition, or other safety considerations. JP Boating will, at our discretion, reschedule or refund any part of the tuition and will not be responsible for any added costs incurred by the Client.

Any postponement of training will be rescheduled on the next date/time that both the instructor and client are available. 
 

RELEASE
The Client is responsible for any health conditions that may or may not be adversely affected by the stresses of boating.  The Client acknowledges that boating can be strenuous and will seek professional medical advice if there are any concerns related to the ability to remain alert and maintain stamina.

The Client understands the Instructor is licensed and the client will not hold liable JP Boating, LLC or the Instructor for any damage or unforeseen circumstances, including submerged objects, knowing that conditions on the water are variable and are subject to sudden change. Customer agrees they are fully insured.
 

WARNING
No Illegal Drugs or Alcoholic Beverages are allowed on the training vessel. Persons found in violation of this Policy or to be illegally under the influence of a substance will be cause for immediate termination of the training session without refund.
